Each time we have the opportunity to work at Agave of Sedona, it becomes more clear why so many brides love this venue.  One reason is the view!  We couldn’t agree more.  Agave is one of our favorite wedding locations and the reason why we regularly send brides there to see it for themselves.  

One reason we love it so much, besides the stunning views, is that not a lot of decor is necessary inside the ballroom.  All that is really needed is great lighting.  Our custom coordinated ambient lighting ( definitely much different from typical DJ lighting ) can make the space warm, romantic and inviting without being too bright and distracting.  We love DJ lighting when it is restricted to the dance floor, but it can also ruin the carefully planned ambience of the room when carelessly placed colors don’t coordinate with the color palette.   

Having been asked by Agave to consult on their re-model, one thing we suggested was to position recessed lighting in the ceiling directly above the dining tables, therefore pin-spotting our gorgeous centerpieces.  This simple addition of cleverly thought out lighting made all the difference. 

While we are draping experts, we don’t recommend draping the ceiling, as it blocks the recessed lighting and ruins the effect.  Installation time is always a challenging factor as well.  As a matter of fact, we don’t recommend draping this lovely venue at all.  It just doesn’t need it.  The walls already have beautiful sconces and big elegant mirrors so it seems a shame to cover them up.  The same goes for the chandeliers.  We prefer to use whatever decor budget is available where it counts…. on the tables with the use of lavish flowers, lots of candles, nicer linens and pretty tableware.  After all, this is where guests spend most of their evening,
