When Teri Ambrose, of Arizona's Finest Wedding Sites and Services magazine offered us a cover shoot, we didn't have to think twice. What a treat to work at the fabulous Boulders Resort with so many of our very favorite friends and industry professionals, knowing all the time that we would be featured in this important publication. This banquet table-scape was a study in texture, subtle desert colors and unexpected elements not normally used in desert settings. Our self-emposed challenge was to make each place setting in such a way as to provide every guest with a singular experience in terms of what they were seeing in front of them, yet maintain continuity and the feel of a lavish dinner party that could be a wedding rehearsal dinner or simply an elegant gathering of friends. Sedona Photo Shoot with Show Stoppers
WedAZ Magazine, one of Arizona's leading wedding publications, recently approached Show Stoppers to put together a photo shoot at a Sedona venue of our choice. All things considered, we thought Dancing Apache Lodge would be the perfect fit for the kind of design we wanted to do. Although we had previously put together another shoot at Dancing Apache a few years ago ( for another publication ) we thought that this kind of design worked perfectly for the lovely vineyard and lodge. So, we jumped right in and began planning the shoot and putting together the perfect team. We had been working closely with our dear friend and publisher, Angie VanDaele, about developing a Sedona section for the publication. Timing could not have been more perfect. L’Auberge Photo Shoot
The Show Stoppers team had such a great time ( as always ) designing this beautiful photo shoot at L'Auberge de Sedona for Teri Ambrose, publisher of Arizona's Finest Wedding Sites and Services magazine. We previously posted the feature as it appears in the current issue. This was actually the first time we had worked with Brooke Photography. We were so impressed that we wanted to treat you to some unpublished images that we just love. We had a superb team all around and can't wait until the next shoot. Thanks to Teri Ambrose and all the wonderful vendors that made this shoot possible. Ken created an exquisite bouquet in shades of purple, a color trend that we have seen all year. Typical of his style, the bouquet was full of color and an abundance of textural elements. Patricia Vega of Le Petit Spa de Sedona provided hair and make-up services.
