Woodsy Outdoor Wedding
This April 2016 wedding had more moving parts than any in recent memory. We are breaking from the norm and only showing you a few key decor and styling images. Just a few minutes outside of Sedona, hidden away between rocky cliffs and rolling hills, is a secluded, shady paradise that lies along Oak Creek. Accessible only by navigating a steep, bumpy, winding dirt road, it was quite the challenge to bus over 200 guests to the wedding, much less maneuver the caravan of huge trucks, equipment and army of professionals we recruited to pull this off. Although Show Stoppers styled and produced the event, luckily, we were able to secure the capable design talents and organization skills of Laura Marolakos, Heart of Sedona Weddings , and Deb Beggs, Classic Tents And Events. The Spectacular Wedding of Kristen and Jeff
L'Auberge de Sedona was the location of one of Sedona's most lavish and all time over-the-top weddings. As the creative directors and production planners, Show Stoppers had our hands full with this one. The planning began by assembling all of our favorite friendors to be part of this incredible experience. Our sensational team, without whom this spectacle could never have happened, is credited at the end of this post. Our bride, Kristen, hails from North Carolina and Jeff from L.A. We affectionately refer to this wedding as "Old South charm meets Beverly Hills elegance." Show Stoppers was virtually given carte blanche from beginning to end. Lovely Memorial Day Wedding / 2016
Memorial Day in Sedona is always packed with weddings being held in virtually every wedding venue in town. This 2016 wedding at Rancho Los Lagos was so fun. First, we were so happy that one of our favorite Sedona wedding planners, Laura Marolakos of Heart of Sedona Weddings, was at the helm of this event. As always, every detail was perfectly planned and executed. Sedona Bride Photographers did the photography. Classic Party Rentals did a great job with the rentals. Show Stoppers provided the florals and lighting. Laura spread the rose petals just at the last minute before the ceremony so the wind would not blow them away. The ceremony arrangements were gorgeous with huge peonies, erimirus, roses and orchids. Dozens upon dozens of these pretty, square floral details were used randomly all along the family style dining tables. Agave Of Sedona Wedding
Each time we have the opportunity to work at Agave of Sedona, it becomes more clear why so many brides love this venue. One reason is the view! We couldn't agree more. Agave is one of our favorite wedding locations and the reason why we regularly send brides there to see it for themselves. One reason we love it so much, besides the stunning views, is that not a lot of decor is necessary inside the ballroom. All that is really needed is great lighting. Our custom coordinated ambient lighting ( definitely much different from typical DJ lighting ) can make the space warm, romantic and inviting without being too bright and distracting. We love DJ lighting when it is restricted to the dance floor, but it can also ruin the carefully planned ambience of the room when carelessly placed colors don't coordinate with the color palette. Romantic June Wedding at Creekside Inn B&B
Creekside Inn is a charming B&B that is hidden away down a side road off Hwy. 179 that leads to Oak Creek. Nestled under lovely shady trees, this venue has a secluded creekside ceremony area and a small meadow that is perfect for receptions. This June wedding is a great example of how Show Stoppers can add a few key floral details to achieve a romantic, woodsy, Boho style wedding, while staying within a surprisingly reasonable budget given the guest count of 120.
