Barbara and Richard’s Magical Sedona Wedding
Ken and I are fortunate to provide service to a wide variety of couples. This particular wedding we planned in it's entirety from bottom to top. We choose the vendors and selected the table-top rentals / linens / china / chairs and furniture. Show Stoppers provided the flowers, draping and lighting. Most of our brides are admittedly budget conscience but are thrilled when they realize Events By Show Stoppers is reasonably priced and can provide gorgeous flowers easily within their comfort zone. Then, there are the brides that take the time to throughly explore our blog and website. They are amazed to see that we actually provide a variety of services beyond floral that go head-to-head with the best talent in more cosmopolitan communities who are considered the best in the business. The point is, we provide all levels of wedding flowers from intimate elopements to lavish over-the-top productions, cultural weddings and everything in … [Read more...]
Kiley and Keith’s Gorgeous L’Auberge Wedding
Everyone knows that L'Auberge is one of our favorite venues for Sedona weddings. Among other reasons is the variety of ceremony and reception locations. There are so many options that it's hard to decide. Kiley and Keith's autumn wedding took full advantage of the red rock views up at Spirit Song overlook for their ceremony. The Creek House Terrace along Oak Creek was perfect for their wonderful reception. The yellow-gold colors of autumn were intense along Oak Creek and the weather was wonderful. We are very excited to share these gorgeous photos by Andrew Holman Photography. The end results were exactly what we had hoped for. Everyone was so kind and took every bit of advise and planning suggestions we had to offer. We have to mention that the mother of the bride was a pleasure to work with and made us want to go the extra mile. As guests arrived at the Spirit Song Terrace, the first thing they saw was the sign in table that … [Read more...]
A Beautiful Sedona Wedding
Show Stoppers is pleased to provide this post written by Kristi Blane. Alisha and Kyle wanted an adventurous vacation with a different backdrop when it came to their destination wedding in Sedona. “We wanted the opposite climate, landscape and general feel than where we live in Washington State, so Arizona was perfect for that,” recalls the bride. That, paired with wanting to be a drivable distance away so they could include their fur babies in the celebration led to the decision to head down to the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. Many friends and family were supportive of the decision to do a destination wedding, “people were excited to go to a place they had never been,” recalls Alisha. With only eight months to plan and selecting a month that is the most popular for the destination, the couple had to be flexible on the day of the week their October wedding was going to happen. On a Tuesday evening, the couple exchanged vows and celebrated in an alfresco setting within … [Read more...]
Tlaquepaque Wedding With Old World Charm
Alisha and Kyle's autumn wedding at Tlaquepaque was one of the most charming we have seen recently. Alisha paid attention to all the details and it really paid off. The exceptional photography was provided by Jennifer Lourie Photography. The simple ceremony was held upon the upstairs terrace overlooking Patio del Norte. We loved the intimate feel of the ceremony with everyone gathered around the couple rather than being seated in chairs. The bride provided her own fabric backdrop. Show Stoppers provided the beautiful autumnal floral and pedestals. Alisha carried a gorgeous autumnal themed bouquet designed by Ken Heflin. Ken combined seasonal fall flowers including dahlias, scabiosa, mums and eucalyptus into a vibrant bouquet full of rich fall colors and textures. He added an exotic touch by incorporating pink mink and pin cushion protea and succulents to his design. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour while Alisah and Kyle had … [Read more...]
Up-Graded Intimate Package at L’Auberge
Just a week before Christmas, L'Auberge de Sedona called and asked if we could provide flowers for a last minute elopement on Friday, December 28th. There were no guests.... only the bride and groom for this intimate, romantic ceremony. The couple wanted a beautiful Chuppa decorated with fabrics and flowers and a lovely antique Chinese chest for the ceremony. We loved the idea that they wanted this lovely set up just for the two of them. We could not resist so we went all out. A few days before the wedding date, weather reports began to forecast rain and or snow. After speaking with the bride and groom about the possible weather challenges, they told us to "go for it." They were determined to be married at Spirit Song Terrace regardless of the weather. It was an uncomfortable set up with intermittent cold rain, wind and snow. Regardless, we forged ahead and set up the primary structure on Thursday and added flowers on Friday, just a few … [Read more...]

Meaghan and Joseph Marry At L’Auberge
Almost every weekend, Show Stoppers will be producing at least one or two wedding's at L'Auberge. Between our regular weddings at L'Auberge, Sedona Golf Resort, Seven Canyons and Agave of Sedona, we were pretty slammed this spring. Genie and Jess of Birdsong Wedding Photography were so kind to send us these lovely images. This was such a pretty wedding we thought you would like to see it. This stunning photo was taken in a secluded spot in West Fork. Genie and Jess do so much work in Sedona that they know all the best places and times for getting incredible images like this The ceremony was held at the Spirit Song overlook at L'Auberge. We never tire of this location with it's sweeping and unobstructed views. It's easy to see why L'Auberge is one of Sedona's most popular wedding venues. The reception was held on the Creek House Terrace overlooking Oak Creek. A mixture of round and rectangular tables was used to create this interesting set up. … [Read more...]
Alexa and Kyle Marry at Seven Canyons
We admit that this is an unusual way to begin one of our wedding posts. In this case, however, we couldn't resist beginning with a sweet note we received from the couple the day after their wedding. Hi Jim, We were completely floored by the flowers at our wedding yesterday, and you guys did such an amazing job. Everything was beyond perfect, better than anything we could’ve ever imagined. You made the day truly special for us, and so many guests complimented us on the beautiful table arrangements, ceremony site, and obvious attention to detail that your team showed. I loved everything from the bouquets to the men’s corsages to the tiny orchids in the table arrangements! We won’t get our professional photos for another eight weeks, but I thought you’d like to know how everything turned out during the actual wedding! One of our guests shot this candid shot of the bridal party with the chuppah in the background, and it is stunning. Thank you so … [Read more...]
