Ken and I are very fortunate to be chosen to do so many weddings in Sedona and are grateful to all the couples who have given us the opportunity. Sometimes there are couples that we simply will never forget. Marissa and John are just such a couple. Marissa's mother, Ellen, was also a complete joy. We really loved working with this family. The planning process was a wonderful experience on several levels. Fist of all we had the dream coordinator that partnered with us all the way from L.A. Rose Forbes, of Two Tree Events, is at the top of her game. We absolutely loved working with her over the past year. Her skills and experience cannot be surpassed. The Spirit Song overlook at L'Auberge Of Sedona has one of the most beautiful views in Sedona as you can see in these gorgeous images provided by Michael Segal Photography. L'Auberge stands unmatched in it's majestic views, world class service and luxurious amenities. Grey, muted … [Read more...]
Breathtaking Agave Of Sedona Wedding
When we were asked to provide planning and styling services for Corwin and Julie's wedding, we were intrigued. The groom was clearly at the helm in terms of navigating us through every detail of his vision. He was drawn to Show Stoppers because he knew we were a turnkey company providing flowers, lighting, draping and planning / styling services. Corwin had done his homework. He knew that Events by Show Stoppers was known for good taste, innovative details and fashion-forward style. When contracted as event stylists, Show Stoppers works with the brides to elevate the experience to a level that sets their wedding apart from the ordinary. Of course, we always provide stunning floral concepts no matter who plans the wedding. Our skills with lighting effects and draping are available to any of our brides that contract us for their florals. Agave of Sedona is already a stunning Sedona venue and needs no dressing up whatsoever. It's one of our favorites. … [Read more...]

Great Gatsby Extravaganza
Great Gatsby.... was this an awesome party to plan! There is no other way to produce a Great Gatsby themed event except to jump in with both feet and go all the way. After all, the very nature of a Gatsby theme is over-the-top. Well, this party was no exception. From cigar girls to signature drinks to custom wrapped tent poles, it was all there. As guests arrived, the women had a great little party favor waiting for them. Our flapper-costumed cigar girl doubled as a corsage girl and passed out lovely gardenia corsages to all the women. After dinner, the men had a treat waiting for them, too. We had another tray ready to go. An art-deco, black, gold and white color palette was used throughout from the initial invitations to the stunning custom dance floor. The centerpieces were made in tall, black cylinders that were filled with masses of white Dendrobium orchid sprays. Black ostrich feathers were added coming out the … [Read more...]
Meaghan and Joseph Marry at L’Auberge
Our friends, Trista and Alex, BTS Event Management, brought us this lovely wedding at L'Auberge de Sedona. Trista and Alex are superb at taking care of all the details and making production easy and stress free, not only for us but for the bride and groom. This wedding was no exception despite the breezy day. Everyone was on top of their game. These beautiful images were taken by our friends Jess and Genie of Birdsong Wedding Photography. One can easily see by these images why they are among our favorites. Spirit Song Terrace was the ceremony site. The views from this spectacular vantage point are unsurpassed. Photographers love the light this area affords as well as the ever-changing colors of the red rock background. It was a gorgeous day for a Sedona wedding! The bouquet was casual yet subtle in color and form. The beautiful cake was designed by Sedona Cake Couture and mimicked the stump candle display in the background. … [Read more...]
Mariana and Nathan’s Romantic Wedding At Seven Canyons
7 Canyons is arguably one of Sedona's most sensational venues. It has certainly become one of our favorites since we started working there when it first opened years ago. No wonder so many of our brides choose this gorgeous area as the backdrop for their Sedona weddings. Mariana and Nathan are no exception. When Laura Marolakos, Heart of Sedona Weddings, brought this wedding to our table, not only were we doubly thrilled to be working with Laura again, but we were very excited to be asked to design this beautiful wedding at Seven Canyons Golf Club for a truly charming couple. We hope you will enjoy some of the lovely floral details and intimate moments from this lovely Sedona wedding photographed by the talented Hailey Golich Photography. What a way to begin a fabulous wedding weekend! We love everything about this stunning sunset image taken among the old-growth Juniper, high above Sedona on the side of Schnebly hill. The burst of light coming from between the … [Read more...]

Meghan and Ben’s 1920’s Hunting Lodge Wedding
This one-of-a-kind wedding was clearly one of the most unusual and exciting we have ever planned. Ordinarily we provide styling, floral, lighting and draping and leave the planning to a wedding planner. However, from time to time we do add event and wedding planning to our repertoire, provided it is an interesting project that creatively challenges and inspires us. When Meghan McCain ( Senator and Cindy McCain's daughter ) approached us with the idea of having a 1920's western-style / hunting lodge themed wedding, there was no question that we wanted to plan this one from top to bottom. We had previously planned one of her brother's wedding and designed and planned the rehearsal dinner for another brother's wedding in San Francisco. Meghan had just joined "The View" as a co-host. She was so overwhelmed with everything going on in her life that she literally told us to do whatever we wanted and just keep her posted. After a few initial … [Read more...]
