Several Sedona Wedding Services members travel to do destination weddings and projects in other cities. Today, we want to share with you some images that the Events By Show Stopper's team took during their recent trek to San Francisco and shared with us. The guys were working at the world-famous Fairmont Hotel, high atop Nob Hill. Not only did they plan, design and execute the decor for the lavish rehearsal dinner, but after an initial site visit to the city by the bay, they returned to Sedona and drew upon their event planning skills and coordinated everything in detail. They procured special requests for gift bags, planned logistics, timelines with various guest hotels and oversaw and executed major details of the event. Literally everything had the Show Stopper's touch in one way or another. The hit TV series, Hotel, was filmed at the Fairmont during the mid 1980's. The lobby of the Fairmont is spectacular. … [Read more...]

Jessica and Dean via Phoenix Bride And Groom Magazine Blog
It's always a nice surprise when a Show Stoppers' wedding is featured in popular magazines and wedding blogs. Here is another feature that appeared on the beautiful Phoenix Bride and Groom magazine blog. Jessica and Adam’s wedding at The Club at Seven Canyons was a family affair full of beautiful summery details; the Florida couple chose yellow, charcoal and purple throughout their destination wedding decor to create a happy and joyful atmosphere. The bride is a DIYer at heart so she was involved in every aspect of the decor. She embellished the parasols, made the programs, and designed every little detail for the reception herself. The spectacular floral designs are by Events by Show Stoppers, one of our absolute favorite floral designers! Jessica tells us: As guests found their seats at the reception, they were greeted with a chocolate pistachio dome already on their plate with a handmade flag that said ‘Life is Unpredictable- Eat Dessert First!‘ to show the … [Read more...]
Forest Highlands Wedding of Michelle and Chris / Part 1
Flagstaff Rocks With the Wedding of The Year The Rehearsal Dinner and Ceremony at Forest Highlands Golf Club Michelle and Chris have got to be two of the most fun-loving couples with whom we have ever had the pleasure of working. From the first day we met them, everything just clicked. Ordinarily, we are very anxious when brides, their friends or family members attempt the coordination of a wedding this complex but, this was not the case with Michelle. Talk about organized! Michelle had several notebooks filled with every detail from photos, magazine clippings, paper and fabric samples, tentative timelines and color swatches. She knew exactly the look she wanted as well as what she did not want. It was a breeze planing this wedding because of her attention to detail and, as a result, the wedding came off without a hitch. There were so many elements that had Michelle's personal touch that we hardley had to do anything but go along for the ride and enjoy making her … [Read more...]
Janae and Mike’s Romantic L’Auberge Wedding
We hope you enjoy and appreciate the fine work of Birdsong Wedding Photographers as much as we do. Many thanks to Jess and Genie for posting this lovely wedding on their beautiful website. Sedona brides love their work and so do we. Janae & Mike traveled all the way from California to have an intimate creek side ceremony and reception at L’Auberge de Sedona. Genie and I photograph 5-10 weddings each season at L’Auberge and can honestly say it is one of our favorite venues in Sedona. From the intimate beauty and tranquility of bubbling Oak Creek to the grandiose views of majestic red rock vistas, L’Auberge de Sedona is definitely in a class of its own. Margaret of Van Damme Weddings did a fabulous job in her dual roles as day of coordinator and officiant. Margaret’s relaxed, understanding, intuitive and detailed style makes her the perfect choice for any bride needing help planning and coordinating a Sedona destination wedding. Jim and Ken from Events By Show … [Read more...]
Day Of The Dead Wedding In The Village of Oak Creek
More and more we are seeing brides choosing themes for their weddings. Such themes are often inspired by the wedding date surrounding the holiday. This Dia de los Muertos wedding coordinated by, Laura Marolakos, Heart of Sedona Weddings, is the perfect example. Show Stoppers is always interested in doing artistic projects that fall somewhere outside the norm. When asked to do this wedding, we were on board from the very beginning. We just this day discovered these images on the grooms Facebook page while wishing him a happy birthday. We had never seen the images. The October 23, 2010 wedding was in the Village of Oak Creek at the bride's parent's home. The private estate had terrific views. The gorgeous, secluded property was the perfect backdrop for a wedding of this nature. We hope you ail enjoy these images by Jody Dominque Studios. … [Read more...]
