We thought this was s pretty L'Auberge de Sedona intimate wedding you would like to see. Many Sedona brides opt to have just their immediate family members and closest friends attend their weddings. We chose this wedding because the images by Sedona Bride Photography show just how lovely creekside weddings can be. Not all Sedona weddings focus on red rocks. Sedona has a variety of great locations including red rosck vistas, creekside settings and Oak Creek Canyon locations. … [Read more...]
A Frida Kahlo Style Wedding During Dia de los Muertos / Primera Parte ( Part one )
Three years ago, when Ken I approached Tlaquepaque management about creating an annual Dia de los Muertos ( Day of the Dead ) festival, we never dreamed it would take off like it did. Well.... actually, yes we did. We just didn't know it would do it so quickly. With the generous and enthusiastic support of Tlaquepaque, Dia de los Muertos is off and running, destined to be one of Sedona's most popular public events. Ken and I and our fabulous staff are pleased to see our vision come to fruition. It is gratifying and emotional to see so many people comforted by reminiscing, honoring and talking about their deceased loved ones, and at the same time, having so much fun with their friends and families. It was wonderful to hear all the stories. To think that we were, and are, a part of bringing this lovely celebration about is quite moving for us personally. Not wanting to stop there, last year, Show Stoppers originally came up the idea of staging a Day of the Dead wedding shoot … [Read more...]
Frida Kahlo Wedding During Dia de los Muertos / Part two
There is more to this celebration than you know. It was actually very special that Patricia and Scott had this opportunity to renew their marriage vows. ( See part one ) They told me that when they met on South Beach in Miami, it was love at first sight and a whirlwind romance with a ceremony on the beach. They never had the opportunity to have an actual wedding ceremony in the traditional sense of the word. Although the ceremony I styled was not exactly what they would have imagined, it was very real to them. They were the perfect fit and soaked it up like a sponge. Ken and I could not have been more thrilled knowing this little bit of background about our charming couple and how it played into our vision. Now for part two of our adventure. … [Read more...]

Romance At The Arizona Biltmore / Part 1
Sneak Peek at Katelyn and Brian's Biltmore Wedding We have been anxious to do this wedding at the Arizona Biltmore for some time. This was one of those times where everyone and everything just clicked. These first images that came from photographer Emily Snitzer's blog just days after the wedding are incredible. Katelyn and Brian were a joy as was Kate's mom, Kris, and her aunt, Wendy. What a wonderful, fun loving family. More images will be forthcoming so visit us often and see more photography by Emily Snitzer. With the five bride's maids and Katelyn, the day began very early with hair and make-up. … [Read more...]

Sedona Golf Resort / Southwestern Style Drama
Recently, Show Stoppers was hired to create a contemporary Southwest style wedding at Sedona's popular Sedona Golf Resort. Varieties of cacti and succulents were used along with Sedona red rock, glass domes, cholla cactus wood, peppers, euphorbia varieties, orchids and moss. This was an unusual study in it's combination of colors, textures and use of flowers, plants and foliages from wildly extreme temperate zones. We love the look of this wedding that was inspired from a shoot we did for Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine last year. In fact, that is where our clients got their inspiration and contacted us. We hope you like it. … [Read more...]
What’s New With Show Stoppers
In our never ending quest for new and fun things to do, we have decided to reinvent some of our "retired" fabric inventory. The first thing we are doing is creating our own colors and dyeing our inventory of gauze. What a mess... but what interesting colors. Currently, our tastes anyway, are running into the more earthy, subtle colors. … [Read more...]
